1. Overview
Hacker Sim: Cyber Ops (the "App") is a single‑player idle/progression game. We keep your game progress on your device and collect only the data described below to operate, improve, and monetize the App.
Unlike earlier versions, the App now displays advertising provided by Google AdMob, and — with your permission — uses an advertising identifier to show ads that are more relevant to you. This policy explains exactly what that means and how you can control it.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, camera, health, or calendar data. We do not operate a cloud‑save or user‑account system; your progress is stored locally on your device.
2. Data We Collect
| Data | Collected by | Purpose | Used to track you? |
|---|---|---|---|
| App usage & interaction events (screens viewed, sessions, in‑game actions) | Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob | Improve the App; measure and serve ads | Yes (advertising portion) |
| Crash reports, performance & diagnostic data (stack traces, device model, OS version, minimal game‑state snapshots) | Firebase Crashlytics | Diagnose and fix stability issues | No |
| Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android) | Google AdMob | Serve and measure ads; frequency capping; (with consent) personalization | Yes |
| Advertising data (ads requested, shown, clicked) | Google AdMob | Serve and measure ads | Yes |
| Approximate (coarse) location derived from IP address | Google AdMob, Firebase | Regional ad relevance; fraud prevention; analytics | Yes (advertising portion) |
| Pseudonymous app/installation identifier and app‑generated user ID | Firebase, RevenueCat | Analytics; link a purchase/subscription to your install | No |

| Push notification token | Expo / Apple Push, Firebase | Send gameplay and reward notifications (if you enable them) | No |
| Game Center player identity | Apple Game Center | Leaderboards and achievements | No |
We do not receive your real name, email, or contacts from Game Center or from Apple's payment system.
3. Advertising and Tracking
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process your advertising identifier, advertising interactions, device information, and coarse (IP‑based) location to serve and measure ads.
Your choice (App Tracking Transparency). On iOS, before any tracking occurs we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
- If you allow tracking, ads may be personalized using your advertising identifier.
- If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non‑personalized (contextual only), and we will not use your advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Where required, we present a Google‑certified consent message (Google's User Messaging Platform) before serving ads, so you can grant or refuse consent for personalized advertising in line with GDPR.
Changing your mind. You can change these choices at any time:
- In the App: Settings → Privacy → Manage Ad Privacy.
- On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- On Android: Settings → Google → Ads (reset or opt out of advertising ID).
Google's use of advertising data is governed by Google's own policies:
- How Google uses information from sites/apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Operator Pass / ad‑free. Subscribers to our ad‑free entitlement are not shown ads and are not asked for tracking permission for advertising purposes.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Operate core gameplay and save progress locally.
- Diagnose crashes and improve performance and features.
- Serve, cap, measure, and (with consent) personalize advertising.
- Provide, restore, and validate in‑app purchases and subscriptions.
- Send notifications you have opted into.
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data. Sharing is limited to the service providers listed below, acting on our behalf or as independent controllers for advertising.
5. Legal Bases (EEA / UK GDPR)
- Consent — personalized advertising and, where applicable, analytics and the use of advertising identifiers.
- Legitimate interests — non‑personalized advertising, crash diagnostics, security, and basic product analytics.
- Contract — processing purchases and delivering subscription entitlements.
You may withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 3.
6. Service Providers and Third Parties
- Google (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob) — https://policies.google.com/privacy
- RevenueCat (subscription/purchase management) — https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple (App Store / StoreKit payments, Game Center, Push Notifications) — https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy
- Expo (push notification delivery) — https://expo.dev/privacy
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. Apple processes your payment and Game Center identity; we do not receive your payment card details or real identity.
7. Data Retention
- On‑device data (game progress) remains until you delete the App.
- Analytics and crash data are retained according to Firebase's standard retention periods.
- Advertising data is retained by Google per its policies.
- Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat and Apple as needed for entitlement and legal/financial purposes.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
- EEA/UK: GDPR rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sharing" of personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising. You can exercise the opt‑out using the tracking/consent controls in Section 3. We do not sell personal information for money.
To exercise any right, contact support@jobee.dev. Because much of the data is pseudonymous and not linked to your identity, we may be unable to associate a request with a specific individual; we will ask for information needed to locate relevant data where possible.
Other controls:
- Notifications: manage in your device Settings or in‑App settings.
- Advertising: see Section 3.
- Delete all local data: delete the App.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it. Advertising is configured for a general (non‑child‑directed) audience.
10. Security
We rely on reputable providers (Google, Apple, RevenueCat) and platform protections. Game data is stored locally on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
11. International Transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
