Transparency Security

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the App on iOS. We are committed to transparency and to collecting only what is needed to operate, secure, and improve the App.

At a glance

Information we collect

1) Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used so we can improve features and balance gameplay. Firebase generates a pseudonymous installation identifier and records in‑app events (for example: screen views, session starts/ends, daily login, hack start/complete, research start/complete, equipment upgrades, modal opens/closes). We may set non‑personal user properties (for example: player level, heat level, total earnings, app version) to help us analyze aggregated behavior.

Data categories processed by Firebase Analytics may include:

2) Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostics to improve stability. Reports may include stack traces, timestamps, device and app metadata, session info, breadcrumbs (recent in‑app actions), and performance metrics. For serious errors we may include a minimal snapshot of game state (for example: player stats and current activities) to reproduce and fix issues. This information is used solely for debugging and quality.

3) Game Center (Apple)

The App integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards. Authentication and identity are handled by Apple. We do not receive your real name, email address, or contacts from Game Center. We can submit and fetch scores and present leaderboards inside the App. Display names and scores shown on leaderboards are provided by Apple according to your Game Center settings.

4) In‑App Purchases (StoreKit)

Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We receive product identifiers and transaction metadata to grant entitlements (e.g., consumables or non‑consumables). We do not receive or store your payment card details. Some purchase receipts or transaction IDs may be retained for entitlement validation and customer support.

5) Notifications and preferences

If you opt in to push notifications, we may use a device token provided by Apple to deliver in‑game alerts (e.g., activity completion, market events). Notification preferences are stored on your device. You can change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings. We do not use notifications for advertising.

6) On‑device game data

Your game progress, backups, and related metadata are stored locally on your device (using iOS storage). We do not operate a cloud‑save service. Deleting the App will remove locally stored game data.
